St.Timothy’s School (K-8)

History St. Timothy’s school: Strong academics, small class sizes and an Episcopal tradition make St. Timothy’s School unique in the Raleigh area. Founded in 1958, St. Timothy’s School, NC is the oldest, non-public accredited day school in North Carolina. The low student-teacher ratio creates opportunities for discussion and helps teachers understand the unique abilities, talents and needs of each student. Focusing on a core group of subjects, including reading, mathematics, science and social studies the students receive the foundation for future success. Enrichment subjects, such as art, music, Spanish, physical education and science lab, complement the traditional curriculum. It is the goal of St. Timothy’s to create a caring, supportive environment where students can experience the joy of learning.
